A New Economy: Film Screening

Join us for a community screening of A New Economy – a film that explores what would happen if working together for the good of all was the most common business model. Watch, as several organizations strive towards building a more cooperative future. By putting humanity before the bottom line, they are finding their place in an economy no longer dominated by profits and big business. The movie will be followed by a panel and community discussion around the following question: “Where has cooperation worked well in our community? Are there more opportunities like this?”

Doors open at 6:30 pm. The film screening starts at 7:00 pm sharp! Refreshments and snacks provided. For more information about the film, visit www.aneweconomy.ca

This screening is cooperative effort by First Credit Union, Skookum Food Provisioner's Cooperative, and Powell River Climbing Co—op.
